How To Make Finger Chips Recipe
A snack which reminds us of our childhood and leaves our mouth watered even in the adulthood is 'Finger Chips'. The crispy potato fingers can be made with just three simple ingredients which are potatoes, vegetable oil/refined oil, and himalayan salt. Serve this easy-to-make snack to your family and friends during game nights, kitty parties and birthdays. The starter tastes best when served hot with ketchup or chutney of your choice. You can use any other salt instead of himalayan salt depending upon your preferences. These Finger Chips can even be baked instead of deep frying.
INGREDIENTS
Boneless fish fingers ½ kg
Salt 1 tsp leveled
Black pepper ½ tsp
Chili powder ½ tsp
Egg 1
Vinegar 2 to 3 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Mustard powder ½ tsp
Bread crumbs as required
METHOD
- Step 1To start with, peel potatoes and wash them. Let the potatoes dry and cut them into thin strips. Take a kadai and heat oil in it on medium flame.
- Step 2Deep fry the strips until they turn golden brown in color.Take out the finger chips on an absorbent paper in order to remove excess oil.
- Step 3In the end add Himalayan salt to the chips and serve hot with chutney, ketchup or mayonnaise.
